Visit the Burleigh Corporate Art Centre with over 300 exhibits of different artists or you go to the Burleigh Brewing Company and see brewing process of local Duke Beers and sit and enjoy the experience. A tour is a great way to spend some time and get to sample the beer.
Not too far away and well serviced by public transport are the major theme parks of the Gold Coast. Movie World, Sea World, Wet n Wild and of course Dream World are all on the northern end of the coast and are a must visit for the whole family. Beach and rock fishing is often productive and there are many creeks in the area where good catches have been reported.
