Burleigh Restaurants & Cafes

You are spoilt for choice when it comes to finding a place to eat at Burleigh. There are some excellent restaurants serving a variety of styles of meal. You can choose from bistro in major clubs and pubs, fast food outlets, takeaway meals, café meals, fine dining in restaurants as well as restaurants specialising in international cuisines.

Given the great climate of Burleigh, alfresco dining is very popular with many cafes and restaurants giving patrons the option of dining in or outside. Even in adverse conditions many of these establishments have drop down clear plastic walls so dining is not interrupted.

Apart from the many cafes and takeaway food outlets, with fish and chips still being a beachside favourite restaurants serving something different are always in demand. Nando’s Burleigh Heads, Chilli N Spicy Hut and Mad About Curry are always popular as are restaurants specialising in Chinese, Thai and Italian Cuisine.

For those who prefer a vegetarian menu there are several vegetarian cafes and restaurants in Burleigh. The Magic Apple is vegan-friendly, has a salad bar and serves international and take-away meals. Whilst Govindas is a Hari Krishna café serving delicious vegetarian meals including mains, savouries, sweets, cakes and slices. You can eat in or take away and they can also cater for your event or function.

Many of the larger resorts have fine dining available to the general public and offer a varied menu of up market meals. These restaurants are usually very busy, especially in peak holiday times so is pays to book well in advance.

Naturally all of the multi-national fast food chains are with easy reach and are great for the kids or for a quick bite to eat.

Mermaids Dining Room and Bar serve excellent meals and some good bistro meal can be had at Burleigh Bowls Club and Burleigh Heads Mowbray Park Surf Lifesaving Club.
